Returns, Cancellations & Exchanges Policy

At Kasavunilayam, we take pride in offering handcrafted, pure fabric garments that require delicate handling. Since most of our products are one-of-a-kind, we are able to accommodate cancellations, returns, or exchanges only under exceptional circumstances.

Cancellations

  • You may cancel your order before it has been shipped, provided that no tassels and/or fall pico have been added upon your request.
  • If you cancel your order, you will receive a store credit equivalent to the order value for future purchases on our website.
  • If you prefer a refund, any applicable bank/payment gateway processing charges will be deducted before processing the refund.

Returns

We accept returns only in cases of manufacturing defects or incorrect dispatch.

Please note:

  • Color Variations: While we strive to capture product colors accurately, slight differences due to lighting, photography angles, or fabric nature do not qualify for returns.
  • Additional Services: Returns due to issues with fall, tassels, or other complementary services will not be accepted.

Return Process:

  1. Initiate Request:

    • Email us at kasavunilayam@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order.
    • Requests beyond this timeframe will not be eligible for return.

  2. Damaged Packaging:

    • If your parcel appears tampered with, damaged, or unsealed, do not accept it.
    • Immediately contact us at kasavunilayam@gmail.com or call +91 8891336111.
    • If the merchandise inside is damaged, email us a photo of the damaged packaging along with your return request.

  3. Return Authorization:

    • We will review your request and, if approved, provide a return/exchange authorization within 5 working days.

  4. Returning the Product:

    • Once authorized, you must courier the product back to the below address within 5 days, in its original unused condition with the bill and tags intact.

  5. Refund Options:

    • You may choose to receive a store credit for the full refund amount.
    • If you prefer a refund to your original payment method, return shipping charges and a stocking fee may apply.
    • Refunds will be processed within 7 working days, but bank processing times may vary.

Exchanges

You may request an exchange only if no tassels and/or fall pico have been added upon your request.

Exchange Guidelines:

  • Customs & Duties:
    • Customers are responsible for customs/duties on both returned shipments and exchanged items.
    • International shipments to India may incur high customs fees, which must be borne by the customer.
  • Shipping Charges: To-and-fro shipping charges apply for international exchanges.
  • Non-Exchangeable Items:
    • Apparel is made-to-order and cannot be exchanged.
    • Fabrics cut from full yardage are non-exchangeable.
    • Any product that has been opened, unfolded, or tried on will not qualify for exchange.
  • Misuse of Exchange Policy: If a customer repeatedly misuses our exchange policy, we reserve the right to decline future exchange requests.
